Treehouse Cultural Jump Jam

Mahin wore his clothes from The Maldives and Ralph wore his clothes from Cameroon for our cultural assembly on Friday. You both looked fantastic.

Pippa shared a Tam-o-shanter because her family has a connection to Scotland.

Eva's dad comes from Mexico and her mum comes from China. Eva made this poster to show some of the differences between the two countries.

Ralph and Hamish accepted the House Relay cup on behalf of Weka in our last assembly.

Congratulations to Muse, Chase, Cullen, Ralph and Mila. These Treehouse CS Kids won athletic certificates in the Year 1 Girls, Year 1 Boys and Year 2 Boys competitions.

Cullen and Muse represented The Treehouse at the The Manawatu Digi Awards. We didn't win a trophy but we did a fabulous job getting to the finals out of 34 schools.

Nitin showed us some new hockey skills.

Look at these beautiful crayons Ralph made! He took the paper off all his old broken crayons and put them in moulds. Then he put them in the oven on 150C for 1/2 hour. 

The next day he looked at them in the moulds and thought "Oh no they are all a yucky mixed up  brown colour.
